Important Information

  • Match scoring is two tie-break sets first to 6 games with a tie-break to be played (first to 7 points with a 2-point deficit), should the game score reach 5 games all.

  • Both first and second serve must be an OVERARM serve.
  • Roaming officials across each venue.
  • If a serve hits the net cord and still lands in the correct service box after a serve (LET), the serve is replayed (you re-serve). This can happen on a first and/or second serve.
  • When the game reaches deuce (40-40), the game continues until one player/team wins two points in a row.
  • Finals series selection (Metro players only – conditions apply): Winners and runners-up may be selected for Rockhampton JDS Finals; semi-finalists may be selected for Battle of the Sands.
